…. Here’s a peak at what you might find!
If you can’t get up to the Nature Reserve, you can do your own rubbings using something else around the house.
You will need:
- A piece of paper
- A textured object from the garden around the house (something like a leaf or a piece of bark or a coin will be perfect)
- A soft pencil or crayon
Place your piece of paper over the object.
Using your pencil or crayon, gently scribble across the paper until you see the pattern of your object.
Ta – Da! watch your pattern emerge through the paper.
Why not trying using lots of different objects and colours of crayon to create a beautiful colourful design.
