Start 2019 with some volunteering!
Woodlands Hall have kindly donated the plants and wood currently in their Community Garden. We need your help to move everything onto the Nature Reserve.
We have two dates in mind:
- Monday 21st January 10am to 12.30pm – to dismantle raised beds and remove small plants AND
- Sunday 27th January 10am to 12.30pm – to move the materials and larger plants to the reserve and plant up the trees.
We hope to serve tea/coffee and biscuits on 21st and on the 27th there will be some hearty soup and bread to sustain everyone!
As it is quite a big job some of the preparation work will be done by local landscaper, James Gatcum and his digger.
Where: Meet at Woodlands Hall car park
When: 10am to 12.30pm Monday 21st / Sunday 27th January 2019
Let us know by Sunday 20th January if you can come by emailing us at headleydownnaturereserve@gmail.com so we know how many to cater for.
Make sure you wear suitable clothing, sturdy footwear and bring some gardening gloves.
